This page is dedicated to all the animals that H & H Stables has loved and lost.
This is for our long time friend and family member. Cujo
October 31, 1995 to June 27, 2009
My mom, dad and I knew this was coming because he had not been feeling well since Wednesday and we knew that it was next to impossible the I would be brining him home. At the vets office there are 3 vets and I told them I wanted Dr. Costello because he knew his history and I knew he would make the right decision for Cujo. Dr.Costello told it was his time that maybe there was a small chance that he put him on latex for his heart and he might live for 2 months but and we decided that would not be fair to him. Cujo was not afraid and knew him pain was going to over and look at Dr.Costello with and almost thank you in his eyes. My head knows I did the right thing but my heart feels like I kill my best friend. When we got Cujo he was a small flies ridden puppy that was our very first house. This guy won over my dad completely and was adored by mom and I. My funniest memory of Cujo was when he was a puppy and the cats Mommie Kitty and Silver who adopted him because they could not have any more kittens. Would bring him rats and he brought a rat in the house to give to his favorite person my dad he dropped right in his lap. No my dad did not think it was funny but the rest of us did. Well at least Cujo is with his very best friends Momma Kitty and Silver. Bad News In Command May 4, 1997 to November 12, 2007
"Memories" They say memories are golden, well maybe that is true. I never wanted memories, I only wanted you. A million times I needed you, a million times I cried. If love alone could have saved you, you never would have died. In life I loved you dearly, in death I love you still. In my heart you hold a place, no one could ever fill. If tears could build a stairway, and heartache make a lane. I'd walk the path to heaven, and bring you back again. By Deborah L. LaVaute Thank you Deborah for the lovely poem, "Memories" this touched my heart in ways I can not put into words. Mommie Kitty and Silver.
Momma Kitty died at the age of 16. She had a long live we got her in West Virginia. Her and her daughter silver moved with us to Somerville, TX and then to Canton, TX.
Sliver was murdered by the Menu food producers. She was poisoned by IMAS can cat food. It was the most horrible death for my beloved 15 year old cat to go through. She wasted away to nothing in a mater of days. Which we thought was old age and the we got the reports on the menu food and matched it up to her food and by then it was too late.
Chance Motion Queen June 6, 1977 to December 31, 2002
Chances was the second reg ten walker we ever owned and the first one we showed. This was my father's horse and no matter where my dad was all you had to do was lay the reins on her neck and tell to go find dad and she would go right to him. She was also the one that I taught all my nieces and nephews how to ride on. We bought Chances at the age of 15 and were blessed to have her until the age of 31. It was a very sad day when it was time to say good bye. Even the mares mourned her passing they would all pass by her stall and look for her this went on for about a month.
